The car came off the road at night in a remote rural area. Its skidded off an icy road down the side of a hill and into a field, about 30/40 feet from the road. Through the AA they passed the recovery of the vehicle to Parkdale Garage. James from Parkdale Garage contacted me directly to gather some information and provided details of the recovery the next day. Heather from Barr village helped show Kalem where the car was. He was able to pull the car out the field and the vehicle was returned to us. We were told Kalem had only recently passed his test on vehicle recovery, he did a fantastic job under extreme weather conditions and a on a rural single track road. Would definitely recommend Parkdale garage, great customer service.

From the moment I phoned for a quote to recover my car Parkdales employees were easy to talk to and put my mind at ease. Then when James the mechanic came to my car to see if anything could be done before recovering my car. James showed my Mum exactly what was wrong with my car and said his colleague would phone me to let me know exactly what was wrong with my car which they did and they were so polite and left me to make my mind up on what I wanted to do with my car. I then decided to get James and his colleague to recover my car which wasn't easy as it had to be done with skids and winched onto the flat bed as it was something to do with caliper that made the car unable to move. Nothing was a hassle to Parkdale and their employees. I will be singing their praises forever more. Thank you.

Just had a massive blow out on the road to Thornhill. 3 scared kids and an anxious partner doesn't make for a fun time and in the pitch black not so easy to change a tyre. Absolute legend of a guy James Cairns stopped behind me, got out and helped me, well basically changed it for me. He advised me he worked for this company, I have never dealt with the company before in all honesty, but if the staff are anything like James then I absolutely would, will and you should too. My passenger side wiper arm mechanism failed 300 miles from home (during storm Babet), and after 2 rather unhelpful garages turned me away, the chap here kindly lent me his tools to remove the broken arm even though he was short staffed and fitting some tyres. He even offered to help (wasn't needed), and didn't charge me. I only borrowed tools, but helpful and friendly local garage.

At 6.30am this morning I hit a bad pothole in Dumfries & it took out 2 tyres (not at all happy). Phoned AA & within the hour Ian the recovery man from Parkdale Garage was with me. What a great fella he was really helpful & got my car onto recovery truck quickly & safely. Also making sure I was safe in the process. A 5 star Garage run by 5 star people. After my bike ran out of petrol nearly I pushed it to Parkdale Garage and asked if they had any petrol or if I could leave the bike there until I went and bought some. As per usual all the team honest quick to service and mot my car which had a fault with heat Shield issue with exhaust, it was suggested with small extra charge to weld it right I said yes, the mechanics spotted issue earlier now sorted car happy I'm happy 6 stars and more if able hot chocolate as I waited not bad either, their prices match quality of service oh yes I got bril courtesy car even though it was for about an hour to go home while they sorted car
